Can any wireless keyboard and mouse work for the ps3? As long as it has the usb and stuff? I tried my laptop wireless mouse and of course it did not work. Does it matter if its desktop or laptop? Where can I get a cheap mouse and keyboard for the ps3? Also I won't be using the keyboard and mouse for gaming. I'm only needing use of it for the Internet Browser. My parents want to use my ps3 cause of the fact it can go onto YouTube XD!! But I'd use it for games if I have a chance.

You should be able to use any USB or Bluetooth keyboard/mouse. It makes no difference whether it is originally from a desktop or laptop. I personally prefer the bluetooth option since it has a pretty decent range, but it is a bit more expensive than a USB equivalent.

In terms of gaming, I prefer the keyboard/mouse combo for FPS games - but maybe that is due to my PC gaming background :)

The keyboard/mouse is also absolutely essential if you want to use your PS3 as a media server, or to run Linux.

I wouldn't worry too much about the price to be honest. You won't end up saving a huge amount of money. Rather get a decent keyboard with a good warranty and support from your local PC dealer. They may even loan you one to try before you buy.

You can't use a mouse/keyboard to play Skyrim on the PS3. If you have a good pc, it'd be best to play it on there instead. It could be possible using the eagle eye to make #1 work. I'm not to sure since I've never tried the product and as I was lookin through some reviews from Amazon and there are more good reviews than bad. Which could be good. I didn't stumble across anything on it for Skyrim. I would suggest to try to find a retailer that sells it locally in a store so that you can return it if it's not giving you the results you wanted. If it does work, I'd certainly like an update from you and which type of mouse and keyboard you used because only certain ones work.

I can't be sure of any keyboard and mouse working with the PS3 and it's standard operating system. However, if you were to install Linux, you could likely get MOST keyboard and mice working... wireless or not.

Most simple USB mice and keyboards will work, but you won't be able to play with them.

its best if you use an blue tooth compatible key board and mouse for the ps3 it works a whole lot smoother.
