I bought a used Playstation 2, and I tried to watch a DVD in it, but it said because the movie was rated R it could not be viewed because of a previous setting by the previous owner I am guessing, and it asked for a password to make a change to this setting. Is there a way I can change this without knowing the password or will I have to locate the previous owner and hopefully get the password? Thank youl

in case you have an HDTV you're able to besides decide for the PS3. It performs Bluray, ordinary dvds (and upconverts them), PS2 video games (different than the 40gb), and clearly PS3 video games. it is an multi function entertainment gadget. do not difficulty with regard to the HD-DVD vs Bluray difficulty the two, because of the fact bluray has already won. it is going to purely take some months for hd-dvd to die out. to exploit your kind spankin new HDTV, you're definitley going to choose a PS3. it may seem costly, yet determining to purchase the products suggested above one after the different may be much greater costly. in case you in basic terms decide to play DVD's than get a DVD participant. you will might desire to apply the PS2 controller (which isn't instantaneous) or purchase an added distant to play dvds on the PS2. I additionally believe siyrah, in that the PS2 isn't the proper dvd participant.
