I can't change password on PSN?

Question

I got home today and heard that psn is back up, so i logged in and i got a message saying,

this password isn't valid anymore please change your password.

When i click ok the ok button flashes like three times and takes me to a page that says

An email has been set to ********************** this is a set of instruction on how to change your password or whatever.

WHEN I CHECK MY EMAIL THERE IS NO EMAIL

plus when i tried doing it again it said the is a server error occured or seomthing

if it helps when i login i do get a message that says you need to login or whatever then theres a code 8002A260

Please HELP!

Have you updated your PS3? I had to download the newest update and then it allowed me to change my password. You still can't access the store but you can play online. Hope it gets to working for you soon.

Same here, I have an account in the US and I didn't have any problems changing its password. But with my other account in Spain I have the same problem as you. I've been looking in the Internet for an answer but the only answer I find is that we need to wait. Well I think you and I should do so.

Same problem here! i've got 3 other accounts on my ps3 system and i had no trouble changing my password but with my primary account which i mainly use to play online and get trophies is giving me this error. I just cant understand whats wrong, with my UK account i logged on and changed password on my ps3 and signed in, but when i tried my main account this error popped up.

I also did that and appeared that the server is having problems and I dont recieve any email and I dont know what to do
