When is PlayStation Network going to be back online?

It has been off for like 2 weeks and it is really pissing me off. I really want to get back online and play. Anyone know what is the set date for it to come back online, because I heard it was already back up and running in Japan.

There is no set date. Their is only prank dates, Sony is giving us palliation when all we want is a solid answer to the reason behind this scandal. Sony is making themselves seem like a very pathetic company at the moment. It takes them over 3 weeks to put up a stronger firewall? The dates failed to meet it's expectation about over 5 times. Even if they are trying their best and it's taking over 3 weeks and they failed to give us vital information about people who paid using their credit cards. "Better safe than sorry?" If this is Sony's best, then this is pretty pathetic. I will still continue to play ps3 because I like the exclusives.

They actually said it wasn't going to up this weekend, thats what I heard on the radio. Sony said it would be sometime last week (beginning May 1st) but still nothing has happened.



Its really annoying because I just got Killzone 3 as a birthday present and even though the simgleplayer is great, i'd still like the play online.

No one knows as of yet Sony want to try and get Sony Online Entertainment sorted now as I can gather PSN is ready so they are sorting SOE's servers and going to boot them at the same time. They moved all servers and sorted a new FW update in 2 short weeks so to sort out SOE's server, I would give it a week max. Just be a little more patient, we have waited two weeks so what's a few more day/hours (You never know). Japan is rumoured to be online as because I don't live in Japan now have a Japanese system I can not confirm this.

i do no longer think of the community is returning, as a results of fact after listening to what I merely heard the PSN is destroyed and so are we. Hackers are making plans a 2d attack basically this time they are going public with the purchasers names, addresses, and mastercard tips. The resource comes from CNET themselves and CNET is a especially damn valid resource.

2.5 weeks ago they said 1 or 2 days, last week they said this week. theyre trying to make us happy and than pissing us off even more. i cant wait till its back too..

Well they said it would be running this weekend but that obviously didn't happen. Me, having an xbox 360 would suggest trading in your ps3 for a 360, you may have to pay online but at least you get good quality gaming. ;)
