I have been dealing with this too! It started last week for me, just with smaller changes... such as not being able to go into Sub-genres, and now its this crap! I uninstalled Netflix 4 times and then I did a system restore! Wish i would have read this before i did that! lol. You think they would at least be kind enough to let us know there has been changes, or THEY are having issues...... I mean, I do pay money for this service!!!

I just noticed the change today. Before I was able to scroll through tons of available content for my 4 year old to watch, all aged-targeted. Now they have a measly "Kid's" section with only 75 instant crappy movies, none of which are appropriate for my daughter. I hope someone at Netflix is reading this and fix their issue. I don't buy their "It's Sony's fault" line.

Same thing here. It's a total mess to navigate through. Better be a glitch or I'm gonna cancel my service as well.
UPDATE
Spent about an hour on the phone with both Netflix and Sony. Neyflix immediately blamed and directed me to Sony (800-345-7669). After trying several things including restore system defaults the girl tells me it's my TV (Sony Bravia) causing the issue which is total bullshit cause everything else including games looks/play fine. I'm pissed!

This is killing me!!! I sure hope this is temporary. The old menu was beautiful. If it stays this way I don't want it at all. You are not alone with this issue. I have uninstalled and reinstalled without a change.

I've also noticed this issue and it's definitely something that changed very recently. An update from their side is most likely as it seems to be hitting different regions in waves. I actually have a 60Mb internet connection and receive an incredibly fast load time for this new data hog of a menu but it still seems like an incredible waste of time... I'm not real sure why they would take away such a useful function from the ps3 menu... Quite frankly I've considered the option of streaming from the XBox 360 and the Wii and chose the PS3 option because not only was it free like the Wii, but it was so much more functional... I'll just suspend my account for a couple months and give them time to fix their mistake... If not I suppose it's time to just cancel it altogether... If it weren't for the streaming service I wouldn't subscribe anyways... So thanks Netflix... You may have just saved me $8 a month!

I think netflix has actually made the change to remove the left menu navigation, to put the title description on the right instead of below the title, and to scroll through a single line of titles instead of scrolling through rows of the titles.
The changes have made navigation through the titles more time-consuming. I don't have the patience to scroll to through all 250 titles on a single line and these changes make netflix pretty well unusable to me. I called netflix to complain and to tell them that if the problem (or "feature") isn't fixed soon, I'm cancelling our service.

i noticed this same problem 15 minutes ago. on my ps3 the browsing menu doesnt exist anymore, and on top it says your instant queue is empty. i also un/re installed and still the same. i guess its a problem from their side...... and the best of all i searched google thoroughly and i didnt find anyone complaining about this. so this is a very new issue.

In the last 3 days, I've downloaded 3 firmware updates for the PS3 - wondering if this may have caused the menu issue with NetFlix?

PS3 Netflix Menu Problem - I agree with "Kevin", I think its a glitch having to do with Netflix. Could have something to do with the amount of people off for the holidays and streaming through the network = wild guess.... I wouldn't do anything drastic, just wait till tomorrow and see what happens.
My PS3 is doing the same thing, its sucks to navigate but I can still watch movies fine.

I'm having the EXACT same issue! I'm glad I'm not the only one. It's really frustrating and I noticed that the screen I zoomed in a little more too. I want the old menu back.
I'm sorry I can't help but I'm assuming it's a new issue...

same thing here...netflix phone reps says sony decides on the category arrangement. a title push earlier this week caused it on my ps3. yes, this is a showstopper for me too. i'm in my trial period, so fix it by 1/11 or i'm gone too. 250 movies under multiple genres and sub-genres or 75 under only a few. poor, poor decision from a customer service perspective.

I have the same problem using Netflix Canada. I cannot imagine why they think this would be an improved user experience.Very annoying. If it stays this way then I will probably cancel my subscription.
