No its not possible without a modded PS2.

This requires getting mod chip for your PS2 but you have to shop around as not all mod chips alow you to save to a pen drive. Any mod chip that does enable this is also likely to be expencive. Why dont you just buy a memory card...a second hand one isnt much...maybe 10 to 15 bucks at most
