Is my PS3 wireless broke... We had a very brief power cut / surge on saturday afternoon, the power surge rendered my PC wireless netgear useless and now my PS3 will not connect to the router on a wireless connection nor a wired connection ? It still plays games from disc and movies etc, but is it worth keeping if its not connecting to update system and play online games ?

Well, your situation sucks and i dont know what the problem is but on a side note if you play games online like SOCOM then a wired connection is faster,creates less lag,and is way less likely to get dropped.If possible i never online game with a wireless connection but thats just me!
