how do I update the version of my ps3?

i want to update the version of my ps3 to 4.50 so i can play need for speed hot pursuit

on your home screen, go to the settings and it should be the first on at the top



or you can download the update via usb stick off the ps3 website and use it as an alternative, although as the information if being moved it might be damaged

When did the PS3 get 4.50 update ? Last update I received was 3.55 ! Just connect to the internet and it should prompt you to get the latest update !
