ok i have no idea how to connect my ps2 to the internet. what do u ineed and how do i do it? i have a sbc yahoo dsl and one modem but the modem has all the ports takiin up so im confused help please

If you have the slim PS2, you just connect it with an Ethernet cable to the modem (unplugging your PC first).

If you have the big PS2 you will need the Network Connector and connect the PS2 with the modem that way.



Then you insert the Network Access Disc and it will guide you through the Setup procedure.



If you want more devices attached to the modem, you will need a router.

you need to buy a network switch so you can connect multiple things to your modem/router, you will need a 4 port switch which doesnt cost much and if you have the original PS2 (not the slim one) you will need the PS2 network adaptor and then just get a cat5 crossover network cable to connect the PS2 to the router and another to go from your computer to the switch. You might also need one to go from the network switch to your modem/router

just get a cheap router, plug your modem into the WAN port and your computer,ps2 into one of the other ports.
