Is Crash Bandicoot series death? There will be an other Crash Bandicoot game in the future?

I mean, Crash Bandicoot series is in trouble, really in trouble, there are not new games since 2008, the only two games in this console generation are "Crash of the titans" (2007) and "Crash mind over mutant" (2008), but there is a little, small and tiny problem with this two games: THIS IS NOT Crash Bandicoot!! I mean the games are not platform games, Crash can't do the tornado but he can fight with punches, the main Character is not Crash Bandicoot, for example in the first "playstation one series" Crash was a great badass, very cool and awesome, one of the greatest videogames characters ever made, BUT in the last two games Crash was simply an idiot, dumb, childish character and a bad and stinky Wakko Warner's parody (with the same voice actor), what a mess!! Ther other character are very different, Dr Cortex is a really idiot character and he's not the evil scientist that he was on the first Playstation!! Aku Aku and Uka Uka are very different and they are not anymore the mystic spyrits of the first Playstation!! So: this is not crash bandicoot!! Is Crash Bandicoot series death? There will be an other Crash Bandicoot game in the future? What do you think about it?

Technically Yes, the series is almost dead, because of Activision not allowing most developers from its side to pick up the series again from Radical Entertainment. (Their last game for crash was a cancelled reboot of the series that was going to exclude the mutants and play like Twinsanity but has a new artstyle), in addition to a CTR kart racer that was also cancelled.

As from the reputation from people, not really, lots of people STILL like me want a new game, and we are trying to make Activision know that we would like a new game, and some like me knew they were rude with their developers studios, even Infinity ward who made Call of duty.

If you dislike the newer gsmes, then just play the old ones and stay off complaining about the newer ones,

If you care so much about crash and even care about the newer games (NOT crash boom bang), then i would suggest you to start with Twinsanity, and play the mobile kart racers :-)

You are correct bro really i love the crash bandicoot series when it was a PlayStation exclusive (old memories) i really miss those days. And as you said crash was really a dumb, childish character in last two games. Now the current publisher is Activision who is currently not interested in publishing a crash bandicoot game. On a Kotaku interview Activisions CEO Eric Hirshberg regarding the future of the Crash series, he said, "I don't have anything official to announce, but I can speak as an individual, I love Crash Bandicoot. Those were some of my favorite video games growing up. And I would love to find a way to bring him back, if we could."Andy Gavin, co-creator of Crash Bandicoot, has said that he’d love to see a HD version of the marsupial’s first four games, or even a full blown reboot. Jason Rubin, co-creator of Crash Bandicoot, said he is hopeful that Activision will "Bring Crash back to their glory days and that the character is still very dear to fans between 17–49 years". A new design of Crash Bandicoot has been spotted in a photo from the Vicarious Visions's studio, raising rumors that a new game might be in development,though this was later confirmed to be concept art from a previous Crash Bandicoot cancelled game.

Call of duty: Ghosts project is also done and gonna be released on November 5 2013.

So with all these we can conclude that Crash bandicoot game will be soon developed and released.

Crash bandicoot was such superb games on the PlayStation1 and the ps2 but as you say the last few games were not made by naughtydog who made the originals but by Activision and they had a licence to change what they liked. Gaming characters do change unfortunately, look at sonic now, he comes across as just arrogant and cocky but I remember him being helpful and cool, developers make changes to keep things fresh regardless if we like them or not. With Activision loving 1st person shooters I'd wager those sort of games would take preference over a crash game as thats were the money is. You never know maybe knack will come good on ps4 as that games being made by the guy that designed crash

Equal naughty dog was once the excellent!, i cherished crash warped and cradh workforce racing i still have crash staff racing and play it daily, i additionally obtained crash 1 however on no account played crash 2, crash bandicoot games were the quality i pass over them:(, now crash has gone downhill and it SUCKS come again naughty dog and start making crash video games again cuz now no person likes crash games anymore. And spyro was also just right i still have spyro year of the dragon just right historical days however i might ought to say it isn't as good as crash however nonetheless had very good games on the ps1. But now it is inferior to it was before:(
