What are some kid/family friendly games for PS2?

I have a Playstation 2 and am looking for some fun family or kid friendly games for it. My 6 year old son and I bond over it and we need some new material. Any suggestions? We like adventure, racing, cartoon, etc. I'm thinking maybe some of those games based on kid movies, but some of those can be pretty dull. Thanks!

for a kid you can always try the sports series such as mickey golf, crash racing, and of course kingdom hearts. kingdom hearts is a game in which you encounter all of the disney characters and help them and they help you their also a 2nd one and both are really awesome and it a adventure game that willkeep you both occupied..lol

A good game I would say would be Kingdom Hearts, I loved it when I was a kid. (I got into final fantasy when I was 7, best franchise ever.)

The Guitar Hero series is pretty schweet. You can play co-op, or versus mode.
