I don't get this.. I checked and found that there were existing PSN ID's with frootloops in them. One is even called frootloops. It has nothing to do with availability, I've tried tons of random strings of numbers after frootloops but it keeps saying "the online ID you entered cannot be used." I'm not using a PSN that doesn't have frootloops in it I love that cereal too much. So please help?

It has absolutely nothing to do with copyright issues. If a company is copyright protected, it doesn't prevent the USE of it's name in other communities. With that logic, you'd have to ask permission of the company just to type the word. Regarding your question, however, you could troubleshoot with Sony if you're desperate for an answer. Perhaps there are just a lot of people in the world who share your passion for breakfast cereal? You could make an account, and go to the Friends List>Add A Friend. Then, enter a variety of desired names until you come across one that states it doesn't exist. Then attempt to make an account using it. Good luck.

Someone must love frootloops. Hav you ever tried changing the lettering or use symbols? Like Fr00t-l00pS ? (Example as shown. And those are zero's, not uppercase O) it took me forever to come up with mine so just mess around with it and something should turn up :)
