if you mean error code 80710102this is what it says on the playstation website: Cannot connect to the Internet. This may be caused by inputting the incorrect information when setting up your network connection. It may also be due to a temporary lag in your connection (if on Wi-Fi due to a weak wireless signal or if on a wired connection, could be due to congestion with your Internet service). here is the solution

- Reboot the PS3 system and try to connect online again. Or try connecting at a later time.

- If setting up a network connection, make sure all information is inputted correctly.

it should . usually a time out message means a poor wireless signal and a wired connection gives you a 100% connection you can also try the usual wifi fixes , move the router or ps3 closer , put an aluminum pie plate behind the router antenna to try cutting off some interference and get a stronger signal , moving the antenna just getting online is easy and doesn't need a good or fast connection , getting on psn does require a strong connection , fast speeds and proper router setup like port forwarding or upnp enabling .

This problem is happening with everyone else, this is because the PSN is down, in a few days Sony would've finished fixing the problem, and you'll be able to log in.
