Now I heard it was hackers and I was thinking if it were, wouldnt they just locate them and arrest them. Then make a new update we can download for better security? Well what Im getting at is what if the problem is bigger than it seems? DONT JUST JUDGE ME JUST HEAR ME OUT. WHAT IF, What if it was sun activity? They said around or during 2012 our sun is supposed to be most active, from changing climate to causing power outtages, natural disasters and crashing satellites. Do you think it's possible they need to replace a satellite or something? Knowing how many people they have on PSN they tell us its a minor issue like hackers and they can solve quickly when actually it will take a much longer time.

Yes it was due to an outside attack how can they locate them theres hundreds i heard the police where after them. 2012 solar flare isn't going to cause that sort of damage its predicted not to be very high. But the Japan earthquake could be a reason for the outage.

These are ELITE hackers. Theses arent 16 year old computer geeks hacking into a school system.. they are hacking into the Sony Playstation Network. I would like them to TAKE THEIR TIME to fix this issue. Issue an update so none of this stuff can happen again.

These hackers aren't just 13yr old boys having a laugh, this group of hackers or infringers are the most elite and intelligent hackers out there, the call themselves the anonymous, although they claim not to be involved it is almost fact that one of them is!

Once they get "in" to the psn system, the only way in which Sony can stop them from doing it again is to set up a new satelite and review the security which will take time.

I wish i knew how long as i'm dying to get back on Fifa!!!!

Sony hasn't released many details, however they have admitted that they were hacked by an outside source. Sony had to shut down PSN to prevent further damage to the system. At first they said it would only be for 2 days, however it has been longer so they must have run into more problems. I think they are trying to reprogram PSN to make it safer this time around. I hope they get it working soon.
