playstation 3 and linux?

which version of linux is best?
if i install linux can i still use it as a ps3 eg play games etc?
do i still get an "xmb"?
what feautures are there when using linux?
what bad points are there?
can i dual boot the ps3 os and linux?
can i easily roll back if i dont like linux?
can i break my ps3?
will it still play blu rays in hd?
lol i think thats about it sorry to ask so many ?'s but i dont want to do it and regret it, im quite happy with the ps3 as it is but like i allways say if its not broke........ upgrade!!!

yes it will still play games, yes you can get rid of linux if you dont like it

Yellow dog 5.0 is especially designed to work with ps3's cell processor.

U use that os to play certain pc games, play a lot more media formats which ps3's os cant and browse the net with firefox etc. u cant dual boot linux.

The bad point is..yellow dog linux is a lot more complicated to use compared to windows.

to roll back u press and hold the power button for 5secs or at the kboot prompt u type this.. kboot:boot-game-os, that will get u back to ps3 os.

it will not break ur ps3....unless u fiddle around and delete sony's files by accident when using linux to access the hdd like a pc.
