It's very slow. The national average for download is about 6Mbps and upload is about 2Mbps. I have really fast speeds that far exceed the national average and I still have problems with the ps network. If there is anyway you can upgrade you should do it. Online play is going to be a problem for you.

definite that's significant! The decrease your connection is, the greater lag you will get in-interest. the excellent connection is the excellent. you want intense speed internet interior the 1st place to even jack your xbox to the internet (ethernet cord) low connection is regularly o.k. with a sluggish %. interest, yet while your making plans on taking part in a quickly %. interest like COD or any style of shooter than that's superb to have a sturdy connection. & for internet speed than you incredibly basically could desire to have a sturdy connection in case you do a good number of surfing, once you are the fashion of individual tht merely exams e mail from time to time then a low connection is nice. yet Idefiantly propose having a quickly internet connection for the two, merely makes everyonee happy xD

Its surly going to lag if you are on a good size game server, it would work fine to browse the ps store n such but I think your going to have some good lag spikes with that connection. And demos you download would take a good amount of time on that connection, its really not a fast speed these days.

That seems really slow. I have 2Mbps and find it incredibly slow and frustrating when I am downloading games. Try it out and if its slow and laggy, maybe upgrade it if you can.
