PC or PS gaming: which is better?

Question

I used to game with a ps2...but sold it coz i felt i had grown out of it. But i really miss it, so thinking about buying a PS again. BUT, i know you can play games on your pc...so was just wondering if i should just buy pc games and use my laptop? or just go out and buy a PS again and use that instead?
For example- which platform would provide better/easier gaming, has easier controls and all that?
And for driving games, would you recommend ps or pc?
And would buying a steering wheel-thingy be better than using the normal joystick? And in general, how much do those cost?

Unless you own an Alienware laptop, or a computer built for gaming I would recommend just getting a PS. As for the steering wheel, vs joystick, I'm not sure on the PS, but on my Wii wheel driving is much funner with it. xD



I think a PS3 would be better, of course much better graphics, and imo better controls. I'm not a pc gamer, not sure how driving would be on that..sorry I couldn't help ya there.



In general, for the PS3 the wheel would range from 50-130 dollars. I'd just use my controller instead of purchasing the wheel, in the long run it probably won't be not necessary. Hope I helped ya :D

A PS is much better for gaming, you might as well get the PS3 as PS2 games aren't sold anymore and the PS3 is so much better. The reason PS3 is better for gaming is that the controls are a lot easier, you have much less buttons to worry about, On a PS3 you can play the games on your TV and PS3 has better graphics. As for the wheel it makes the game feel more realistic and makes you feel like you are actually driving the car. But in my opinion it is easier to play with an ordinary PS3 controller.

It depends on the game and it depends on your computer's ability to handle the game. I don't know what the specs on your laptop are but it might not be built to handle gaming.



If you like nice graphics and frame rates and your laptop isn't good for gaming, get a PS3 or XBox360.
