What PS3 game is better?

Question

Saints row 2 or Grand theft auto.

I haven't played gta yet, but it annoys me that you have to complete missions to unlock new places! Is Saints row like that?

Haven't played Saints Row 1 or 2.....so i'd have to say GTA 4

In Saint's Row 2 the entire landscape is available from the first time you play the game.



As you stated, in GTA, you have to play missions to unluck additional areas to visit. However - it seems a bit pointless buying the game if you aren't going to do the missions anyway.



Personally I found both games a lot of fun and completed them both 100%. I would probably recommend Saint's Row purely for the fact it doesn't take itself too seriously, doesn't try to be too realistic and is just designed as a game that anyone can enjoy. I found GTA a bit too serious and there were a lot more pointless and boring tasks to do to achieve 100% completion.

Wow, is that really a question? Lol. Gran Theft Auto IV is maybe one of the best games for the PS3, while Saints Row 2 is just another game... GTA IV is a masterpiece.

I think that GTA is better, GTA is more popular than Saints Row but Saints Row is still a great game, get both if you can then you can see which one you like better...hope this helps!

GTA is alot better in my opinion. Having had both, I thought saints row 2 felt really unrealistic in comparison with GTA 4

If you want a full 1080 HD game, get GTA. It really is a very good game, you'll get well into the story. whereas i've head that saints row is more of a game that doesnt take itself seriously, it's more comedy/fun/quirky in it's own way but still a decent enough game. but it isnt GTA.

i found that gta is a total waste of money i loved san andreas for ps2 but ps3 gta was a total let down. its not fun there is nothing new and its always gloomy and boring. i havent even played saints row and i would say it kicks the @#*#$&$ out of gta.

get GTA. Think about it: GTA4 is the fouth one out (successful game series). Saints row is copying GTA: it's just a sim of the original and best.

Gta I think. Im basing that on the reviews, unfortunately I am yet to play it but I would like to one day :)





When I saw this question, I thought "great, a girl who plays video games for once" then I thought that the games would be novelty, and they werent, they were "gamers" games :) I like seeing game questions from girls cos the game market is so male-revolved.
