can i attach more than two controllers to my ps2?

For example a computer has four usb ports, but to them you can attach a device with multiple usb ports.Similarly is there a way to play with three or more controllers?

They're not very expensive, and it allows you to turn one port into 4 ports. I believe there was a few games that even support double MTs for 8 player action on the PS2. It wasn't designed a 2P console, as multi taps have existed as far back as the NES with the "Four Score"

Yes you can have more then 2 controllers for a Ps2. You need to purchase a Multitap. It will plug into 1 port and multiply it by 4.The Ps2 supports up to 8 controllers. FiFa etc use to be ace with it . Timesplitters too was awesome 4 players split screen.

get a ps3. you can get an adapter that allows 4 controllers but there are not many games that are designed for 4 players for ps2

They use to make an attachment you could hook into your ps2 that was a block with 4the ports... good luck finding one
