I have the same mic. It's easy. Just hold the power and mute button in together for about 10 seconds until you see them blink back and forth. The power button will blink green and the mute button will blink orange.

If you are talking the official PS3 Sony Bluetooth headset, then connecting it by USB, then holding down the power button till it comes on should do it. It will give you the message that it has been paired in the upper right corner after 5-10 seconds. Make sure your firmware is up to date, this has only been supported since firmware 2.50 (current is 3.01). Also go into the audio device settings under the accessory settings and make sure the volume is on (this is just mic volume, and it won't go higher than 3 for the official headset). Also make sure that you've pressed the volume up button on the headset a few times, which is the speaker volume. The accessories setting page should show a meter that moves when you talk, and repeat what you say back to the headset so you can hear how loud your voice and headset are right there without having to test it in a game. If for some reason this doesn't work (it should or I'd say something is wrong), or you insist on using a pre-2.50 firmware (which wouldn't make sense since you can't go online without the latest mandatory update which is 3.0), you can also pair it like any other headset. Hold down the round button until it is blinking fast, this is discovery mode, then tell it to connect to a bluetooth device, and for the password put all zeros. Also check under audio device settings and make sure that the headset is picked as your chat device. If you've used another bluetooth headset before, or USB one, or maybe if it is your first one, you have to select it as both the input and output device.
