1. PS3

2. PS3 (Compare Exclusives, Sony's bluray leaves room for better graphics)

3. PS3 (bluray player alone makes it worth it. HD-DVD is dead)

4. 60gb (discontinued. The 80gb is best now, but another PS3 may be released soon)

5. PS3 has all the good exclusives this year. Metal Gear Solid 4, Final Fantasy, Haze, Killzone 2, White Knight Story, Gran Turismo 5 etc.

6. PS3 online gaming is free. Home is also coming out soon as well as an in-game XMB (making it just as good as Live, but all free).

7. Right now xbox has better messaging. In the next couple of months the PS3 will be better (because of home and in-game XMB). The friends system is pretty much the same.

8. Accessories I give to PS3, because it can use the G25 Steering wheel (which I MUST have for Gran Turismo). They're pretty much the same though.

9. Depends on what PS3 you get. The 60 and 20gb are best, the 80gb is good, and the 40gb has NO backwards compatibility. The xbox 360 can only play like 300 xbox games. The 60gb PS3 can play around 90%+

10. The PS3 has a 0.02% defect rate. The xbox 360 is rumored to have between 16-33% (google Red ring of death). The PS3 is definitely better built (after all Microsoft is software, not hardware).

The PS3 is the better choice.

1. PS3 (used to own a 360 but it broke for like the 5th time)

2. PS3

3. PS3 definently

4. Elite but 80GB comes close

5. I don't understand why people say that 360 has WAY more games when it only has about 80 more games then PS3. The 360 has gaming companys that I've never even heard of. 360 has one great game (which is Halo) that some people buy a 360 just for that specific game. PS3 has good games now but after this year it will have at least 4 GREAT games (MGS4, GTA, GOW comes out in 2009, and many more) Overall I think PS3 has better games then the 360.

6. Better organization with live but expensive. Free internet with PS3 its okay...

7. 360 but PS3 will beat everything by far with Home coming out soon.

8.Xbox 360 but everything costs a fortune.

9. PS3 if you get the 80GB because no system can beat the classic PS2

10. 360 by far. You can't even own it for about 3 months without it breaking down.

In the end PS3 is the better choice.

Hope I helped!

Anyone who owns an xbox willl call you a pussy and say the ps3 sucks

they dont know ****

pardon my french

They will argue that HDDVD is better than Bluray, guess what HDDVD is officially dead as of last tuesday

blueray Won

A standard blueray player goes for about 400-600$

i bought my 60gb ps3 november 2006 for 600$

the price of a bluray player, but with a gaming system included

its more like a supercomputer than a gaming system really

sure you use a controller and play games, but the hardware inside is all computer equipment

making it the best buy of the last two years

if it fails, the parts can be replaced

like the hard drive for example

its a standard Laptop Hard drive and can be changed at any time to any size you buy.

Can the 360 do that?

ps3 has HDMI, the best high definition and sound on the market, 1080p, with its already amazing graphics, the ps3 is sure to amaze some xbox owners.

xbox still uses component like cables for their HD

it ends up looking splotchy and hurts your eyes

If you ever get bored playing a game and want to watch youtube,

go to the home screen of the ps3 and just go to the internet browser.

Which is free, and mine has wireless included so i dont even have to plug in any more wires

overall the ps3 kicks the **** out of xbox in every fashion possible.

Unless you want to go with the masses and buy an xbox, which is already outdated, by the ps3

JOIN THE FUTURE OF GAMING!!! PS3!!!!!

haha hope this helps

overall the PS3 is the best system but 360 has more games out than the PS3. PS3 has better graphics, you can play on line for free(on 360 you have to pay.), and you can play your old PS1, and PS2 games. In addition PS3 has a motion sensitive controllers & you can replace your Hard Drive any time you want. The accessories are basically the same for both constoles. The 360 has a better messaging community mainly because they have had a online community since the first xbox came out and playstation just got thiers. If I were you I would get a PS3 although they don't have as many titles as 360 it is woth that 399 dollars

1. PS3 I own one

2. PS3 the 360 looks better with game that come out on both systems but if you look at the 1st party PS3 games they look alot better

3.PS3 for 360 you have to buy the internet stuff and you bay for live

4.80gig PS3 you don't really need 120gig(im pretty sure that's how much it has) and the Elite system doesn't really have anything diffrent from the normal 360.

5.Xbox 360 latter this year PS3 is suppose to get some good games like MGS4 but right now it's 360.

6.Xbox 360 right now. Live is a better community than PS3 and just has a better interface. But sometime this spring Playstation Home comes out which is gonna be awesome look it up. Also you can't forget PS3 has a internet browser and it's free.

7. PS3 you chat with your friends anytime you want on it

8.PS3 for 360 you have to buy all of the extra junk. On Ps3 you have to buy HD cables you have a Hd-Tv buy better than a $100 dollar thing to get internet.

9. I don't really know about 360 backwards compatabily but the PS3 has problems with some games. I think it's like 20% of Games that are currently backwards compitable with PS3 have problems. But more games will be backwards compitable with PS3 with future updates. I think 360 is fine with it though. So im gonna say 360.

10. Ps3 wins this. Current failure rate for 360 is 16% Ps3 is like 1%-3%. I feel bad for all the red ringers.

1.ps3, because its the only one i own, ill admit it.

2. indistinguishable

3.ps3 by far

4.ps3, you will only have two options most likely, get the 80 gigs, its worth it for the extra $, xbox, cant really say but id go with elite

5. if you take the average rating of both sytems games the ps3 is higher, xbox360 has a lot of low rated garbage games that expands their library, thus creating the falicy that ps3 doesnt have any games.

6. ill tell you this, live is a great asset for the xbox360, but, to me free is always better... especially when it works just fine and up to the standards.

7. i cant guarantee but i bet xbox360 has a good advantage on that... until PS Home comes out, that will be a big boost for the PSN community

8. given the fact that xbox's hardware melts id have to go with ps3, also, sony lets you buy hardward thats not sony (example: blu tooth devices, which, is a device you can use with a ton of other electronics, i use my blue tooth for my work and personal cell as well as my ps3 games), gives you a little more freedom in choosing what you want to spend, plus, youre not buying additional items for he most part bc ps3 already includes a lot that the xbox360 doesnt.

9.i have no opinion on this, i dont play ps2 games anymore, if i did i would be able to on my 60gb

10. uhh, i think you know the answer to that one.

1. PS3 i own one and it has amazing features

2. PS3 1080p picture and it can play blueray movies

3. PS3 with many features like blueray player, internet browser, sixaxis controller, etc.

4. PS3 80gb is the best version

5. PS3 will have better games coming out in the next month or so current games are Resistance, Warhawk, Haze, Metal Gear Solid 4 and the games on both 360 and ps3 are better on ps3 because of the graphics

6. Ps3 online is free and live cost $50 a year; ps3 has internet browser, playstaion store, folding@home which cures cancer and has free wifi

7. Not sure

8. Ps3 because has built in wifi, six axis controler, blueray player and much more; 360 it cost $120 for an hd dvd apapter which isn't even that great and another $100 for built in wifi.

9. 360 can only play about 300 xbox games and ps3 can play about 90% except for the 40gb.

10. 360 has 33% failure rate, while ps3 has only .02%

This is my cut and paste answer. The reason for that is because a tech info is a tech info, you can't beat it (sources below). Also this question is so often!!!

PS3 will win the console war, no doubt. Xbox 360 and Wii are so weak from technological point of view, that in couple of years they won't be capable of dealing with serious graphics. GTA IV, for instance, isn't even announced for Wii - this toy won't be able to cope with the game's requirements. Xbox 360 is getting GTA IV, however, the game is going to be released on several DVDs - Xbox 360 owners will have to interrupt gaming process and switch discs (Rockstar complained about this issue). Only PS3 will have it on single BD-DVD.

Let's compare PS3 and XBOX 360:

1). A third of XBOX 360 (33%) are malfunctioning right from the start. PS3 return rate is only around 0.2%. Despite some people say, that new 360 has no breakdown issues - just visit Xbox section of Yahoo answers and see for yourself an amount of complaints.

2). PS3 has 8 (7+1) kernels in Cell processor, Xbox 360 -only 3.

3). PS3 uses advanced tech called Blu-Ray, one disc can store up to 54 gb (in the future - up to 200 gb), Xbox 360 - regular dual layer DVD-9 (8.5GB). It's possible to get HD-DVD (max. - 30GB) for 360, but it'll cost you around 180$, in this case Xbox is going to be MUCH more expensive, than PS3.

4). Calculations per sec - PS3 - 51-billion-dot-product-operati... per second

Xbox 360 - 33.6-billion-dot-product-opera... per second

5). PS3 has full media support - USBs, built-in 4 slots card reader (except 20GB and 40GB versions), ability to use printer and so on.

Xbox 360 has USBs and only 2 memory slots.

6). PS3 supports up to 7 Bluetooth Controllers

Xbox 360 - up to 4 Controllers

7). PS3 - wi-fi included (except 20 gb version)

Xbox 360 - wi-fi will cost you around 100 $

8). From the first technical sight - graphics are stronger in 360 (it has a stronger graphics chip - Xenos), BUT PS3 can use it's Cell CPU for graphics too, which gives you better graphics in total. PS3 uses a weaker RSX chip, that was developed by Nvidia exclusively for PS3. RSX runs on 550 Mhz. It's difficult to compare their graphics, because 360 has a video chip with totally different structure and operating memory is divided differently in both consoles. Xbox isn't that versatile in dividing tasks between CPU and GPU as PS3. That's why PS3 exclusives look better than 360's exclusives.

9). PS3 uses technology from AGEIA company. It does to physics of the game same thing GPU (videocard processor) does to graphics. This thing is on sale for PC(special card). The price is around 350$. There is no such thing in 360.

10). Xbox 360 is widely known for so-called "red ring of death" problem - it gets overheated easily. My PS3 was running for more than 15 hours non-stop with no problems. Sometimes Xbox 360 becomes so overheated, that thermopaste on CPU melts, drips on motherboard and successfully shortcircuits it. That's why in some countries people call Xbox 360 "Coffin 360".

11). Besides all of this, I've seen disassembled Xbox 360 - regular PC architecture - Billy Gates is an uninventive nerd (as usual).

When I saw disassembled PS3 - it was a surprise - smart architecture, good cooling (don't buy external PS3 coolers - they make everything worse - original system is good), etc.

12). In 2008 PS3 will get more than 300 games, including Metal Gear Solid 4, The Agent and other great exclusives. Here is the good link to the future PS3 releases. http://ps3.ign.com/index/release.html......

13). PS3 online is free, Xbox 360 - you have to pay.

14). There were reports, that 360 scratches discs. No reports on that in PS3.

15). The funniest thing, that right now there are no games for PS3, that show full potential of the console. Biggest games weigh only 25 GB (Xbox 360 will need more than 3 discs even for those).

16). On PS3 you can install other OS, such as Linux Yellow Dog, Ubuntu and others. Sony officially lets you do it. There is no such thing in 360.

17). PS3 HDD can be replaced easily with any 2.5" SATA 5400 RPM HDD (used in laptops). 250 GB will cost you around 170$. In 360 you have to buy exclusive HDD, where 20GB will cost you 100$.

18).Sony expects PS3 to stay on the market for, at least, 7-10 years. Also Sony reduces price now. There is a cheaper 40GB version of PS3.

19).Sony constantly upgrades PS3 software (free updates for OS) - you get new functions and improvements.

20). PS3 controller (sixaxis) has a motion control - you move controller - game responds. Wii has it, Xbox 360 - doesn't. PS3 is getting rumble controller (Dualshock 3) in 1st quarter 2008, Japan already has it. On www.ebay.com I saw those controllers on sale 50$ and up (unofficial import)

21).On PS3 you can help sick people by running Folding Home project. Wii and Xbox 360 didn't even think about it.

22).New 40GB is 399$ or 399 euro (depends on the region) - it has no backwards compatibility with PS2 games, has 2 USBs instead of 4, no built-in card reader, but it's the same PS3, strong, reliable, less noisy, different cooling system. The price is friendly.

23). But, to be just, I'm not a PS3 fanboy, so (despite I own one) hear this - PS3 games (exclusives) are very hard to develop due to complicated Cell's architecture. We have to wait till developers will figure out how to develop games properly. Sometimes multiplatform games run not so good on PS3 due to the same developing issues - it's hard for developers to get a grip on such advanced technologies.

I didn't mention Wii, because it's so weak, no point to talk about it. Leave it for kindergarten and casual games.
