can i play guitar hero with my ps2 controllers?

Can i play the "guitar hero" ps2 game with my ps2 controllers? and dont use the guitar controller?

Yes, it's extremely hard though. L2 is green, L1 is red, R1 is yellow, and R2 is blue. X is orange. The left analog stick is the whammy bar, and select is how you activate star power.

Yes you can. I don't know what buttons match up to the frets on the guitar, but it is possible. Before I got my 2nd guitar my friends would come over and we'd play 2 player with 1 guitar and 1 control.

Yes you can but it isnt as fun in my opinion i have done that just to play 2 player and i would have rather stuck with the guitar

ya you can, its just so much harder and takes the fun out of playing with the guitar

yes you can buts harder that way since u have to use the L and R buttons and the left analog stick as the whammy bar.
