The only way you can access your PlayStation Network account without your PlayStation is through a PlayStation Vita. This is the only way that I personally know of that will allow you to send messages to your Network friends without having the actual system.

You may also log into your account via the PS Blog or Forums, but I don't believe they list your friends from your PSN friend's list.

If you happen to know someone else who owns a PlayStation 3 system, you can create an existing account and log on from there. This won't affect their user or their account, just add a new user and set it up from there.

Hmmm I see Sony continues to be promoting those defective psconsoles ! I had a PS1 and PS2 die out on me interior a million 3 hundred and sixty 5 days of paying for them ! I not problem with psconsoles ! they are incorrect and Sony knows it yet received't do something about it because this is grow to be their money cow and they don't look to be about to kill the goose that lays the golden eggs ! My consoles suffered a similar destiny i.e. overheating, skipping, freezing, discs not being study or some disc may study at the same time as others does not, my PS2 for some unusual reason stopped playing dvd videos about 3 months after i purchased it ! i does not purchase yet another psif I were you as a results of the undeniable fact that one may fail and then you've spent over $600 plus on 2 consoles which have failed and Sony expenses from what I listen $one hundred and sixty for upkeep which purely furthers angers you once you recognize you probably did not reason the topics along with your console ! i does not spend something on repairing it because it failed as a results of Sony's crappy incorrect parts and layout !
