Would this PS3 Steering Wheel work on a PS2 Console?

Question

Would a Logitech Driving Force GT Steering Wheel (PS3/PC) work for Need For Speed Underground and Underground 2 on a PS2 console?

I would like to play these two games for my PS2 but i don't wanna buy em then realise my wheel is not compatible with the PS2 console, it has a USB so i assume i would use that but will these two games work with it?

It doesn't work. It was designed for use only with ps3 and pc. The ps2 doesn't have the hardware to push it.
