I have a 250 GB PS3, i want to relive some old memories when i played PS2 games because i still have them. Only games i have for PS3 is Grand Theft Auto 5, Call Of Duty Ghosts and Black Ops 2, Battlefield 4, The Last Of us, Batman Arkham Origins and assassin's creed black flag. I love these new games so much but now i want to go back to memories of my old games, is there any way to make a PS3 Superslim run a ps2 game, can you think of anything? No.

Sony removed this ability from the PS3 long before the Super Slim models were created.

Your only hopes for playing your old PS2 games are to buy a used PS2 from someone, or hope that Sony makes good on its promise to put PS2 games on its upcoming PS Now game streaming service for the PS4. Unfortunately you will have to repurchase your games through PS Now.

No, because the Super Slim -- and ANY new model -- does not have the hardware. ONLY the original Fat models -- specifically 20, 60 and certain 80 GB -- with 4 USB ports were PS2 disc compatible. NO other PS3 can play PS2 discs.

However, there are PS2 games in the PS Store you can download and play on ANY PS3.

Also, ALL PS3s can play PS1 games.

No you cannot ! Sony removed the ability to play PS2 disc games on the PS3 in 2007/2008 ! There are some PSN PS2 games that'll play on all PS3's !
