I have a PS3 and I am wondering what is the maximum size of USB Pen that the PS3 can read?
I am wanting to purchase a 16gb one and just wondered if the PS3 will read it ok.

Yes, the PS3 can read any size USB flash drive. I mean it reads any size USB external harddrive, and there's no real difference between the two in terms of being recognized by the system.
EDIT: Formatting must be FAT32, though I don't know of any NTFS flash drives.

I know it has to be Formatted to FAT32 not NTFS but my question would be the same on max size could I throw in that new SSD USB 2 TB! wait can those go FAT32 or is that why it goes faster?

As long as it's USB 2.0 there is no specified size. If there are any problems just ask me for I have a PS3.

I think it should be able to read it but you never know as I recently bought a 1gb dell usb stick and my ps3 wouldnt read it.

i could err in the direction of remowims' answer, as i'm optimistic i've got examine of clientele on boards who've put in 1TB effortlessly. as long as that's the superb actual length and classic (i.e. 2.5 inch serial ata) you will desire to be ok.
