I need help with PS3 Jailbreak.?

I have just bought a PS3 Slim 160GB and I don't really understand the whole process of jail breaking and playing downloaded games.
What I did so far:
I downloaded a custom firmware and installed it via a usb drive, established an FPT connection with my PC and copied a game ( Thor: God of Thunder ).
However when I try to start it with MultiMan It just closes.
What I want to know is do I need an original game inside my PS3 in order for this to work?
If so is there a workaround it?
Is there anything else I should know that would make the whole process easier?

Currently the ps3 is on firmware 3.61 and the geohot jb of this year has been fixed. The private key used by sony was compromised but now has been fixed. I was unaware that any jailbreak has been successfully created since then.



EDIT: Just jailbroken ps3, going to see if multiman will work.

it might be the game that is not working because you can run multiman no problems. if you are on cfw 3.55 try downloading the king of fighters game (700mb) and try it, that one should work.
