i just read that psn is back online.. i live in Sydney, NSW, Australia and i cant sign in at the moment...
i was able to get the 3.61 update but i get a message that says

" psn is currently undergoing maintinance"

is this just a problem at my end or are other people having this issue aswell?
if it is only a problem at my end, how can i fix it

has it been confirmed that there are currently online games session for psn?

At the moment Sony are just sending the update firmware. They're slowly going through all the regions to get the network partially up. Ergo USA is mostly up but many of us have to wait for a few more hours

Shouldn't be too long now

Hey sup, I'm also in Sydney, unfortunately it's still down this side. PSN is being restored in phases. It's a shame how Australia is ahead of most countries in the time zone, but we'r one of the last in order of restoration*sigh.. Aniwaez shouldn't be that long

, so hang in there buddy

PSN is only online for the US right now and online play is the only thing restored. Still no PSN Home or Sony store. Sony stated that US/UK were first and other areas would follow. UK is still waiting. Unsure how long it will be for Australia. My only suggestion is to check the Australia Sony blog.
